This is a specification for changes in a program that provides the user with performance
characteristics for a particular air conditioning product. It was writen for the
group writing the code by Ron Morfei, the program manager at McQuay in Auburn.
It represents about 80 - 100 hours work which included interviewing users, product
managers, engineers, and the programmers.

- It is aimed at the developers, not the customer.
- It differs from new development in that it documents an evolving program.
- It defines the complete product, but indicates to the developers what the
changes are by Modified, New function added, and lines through deleted material.
