Prerequisites: This course assumes three years of high school mathematics.
Topics Covered: Equations, Functions, Graphs, Linear Functions, Polynomial Functions, Exponential Functions, Log Functions, Systems of Equations.
Homework: Actively trying to do the homework is the most important way you will the learn the material. I encourage you to work with others and to get help from me, the teaching assistant, or someone in the Math Clinic. However, the process of working on the problem is critical to the learning process, so don't just get the solution from someone else.
